This Sunday, as we come to the last of our Psalms series of messages and studies, we look at Psalm 8. This Psalm begins and ends with the refrain “O Lord, our Lord, how majestic is your name in all the earth!” This is like a pair of ‘bookends’ to a song of praise and gratitude! What a fitting way to conclude our series “God’s soul language”.

Psalm 8 gives us an outline for adoration and praise, which leads to expressing a grateful heart. We can exercise mindfulness and gratitude in our reading and reflection on this psalm, with our minds centred on God our Creator, the appropriate focus of all mindfulness.
