This week we have the latest in our sermon series: Pray, Listen, Bless, Invite, Walk.

BLESS one citizen every month.

Our next act of service to the City is to bless. We aim to bless one citizen every month. Having listened to understand something of the needs of the citizen we are journeying with, we now seek the opportunity to bless them. We offer words that bring hope, for we believe in the continuing work of Jesus bringing renewal to Frankston. We offer practical mercy, in response to Christ’s great mercy to us on that cross.

Prompts for discussion:

  1. Think of the person you’re praying for. What stage is your relationship at? Are you comfortable talking about Common interests, Values or Worldviews?
  2. What opportunities do you see to bless your neighbour with their essential, relational, or spiritual needs?
  3.  There are 5 suggested ways we can grow in humility and love for our neighbour: Being thankful, Regular confession, Humility in the face of aggression, having a sense of humour, listening to others. Which is the greatest challenge for you?
