Sunday February 5

You are invited to join us this week at St Luke’s as we continue to explore the theme of being God’s people in the world today. The first letter of Peter calls us “a chosen people, a royal priesthood, a holy nation, a people belonging to God” (2:9). This is not a people or nation in a geopgraphic sense. It is not a reference to the state of Israel as we know it. It is a reference to people of every tribe and tongue who confess the name of Jesus. We invite you to be among this people, of which we at St Lukes are simply one expression on one small point of God’s globe. As well as our morning worship times, the praise and healing service will be taking place at 6.30pm.
