“Blessed are the pure in heart, for they shall see God”. This is our theme this week as we work through the beatitudes of Jesus from the sermon on the mount. A pure heart is a focused heart, a heart given over to God’s purposes and not distracted or diverted by all that entices and entertains. Jesus is the model for this beatitude, as for the others.
