The King Versus our Idols

This week we explore the wonderful sufficiency of Christ, versus the insufficiency and inability of the idols of our hearts. Though we may not bow down to idols of wood and stone, we do devote our lives to all kinds of pursuits, over and above our Creator. These are our contemporary idols. We look to them for our meaning, our significance, even our salvation. But can they save us? This Sunday we explore this question by way of the story of the Rich Young Ruler in Mark 10.
