Sunday August 2 – Let the Children Come

It’s one time when Jesus puts his foot down. Children were being restrained from coming to him. His disciples thought he was too busy or too important for children. Quite the opposite in fact. He said to let the children come, because the kingdom of God is for them.
Today there are still many blockages for children to come to Jesus. This Sunday we’ll be exploring some of the ways we are working to open pathways for children here and abroad, in cooperation with family and school, to come to Jesus. We all can have a roll to play.
We welcome you at St Luke’s this week. No matter our age, we are, in fact, all God’s children!
