Easter @ St Luke’s

Easter is grounded in truth, in the truth of God’s love for us. This truth has come in Jesus Christ, and that is why we celebrate. Through His death and resurrection hope comes to humanity, in spite of terror loose in the world.
You are most welcome to come to any of our Easter worship events, reflective of the suffering of Christ, leading to the victory of Easter morning.

Thurs: 7.30pm a communion service (sharing bread and wine), with footwashing, reminding us of Jesus’ final meal with his disciples.
Friday: 9.30am Reflections on the cross – Theme: For the Sake of the World
Sat: 8.00pm From light to darkness, hearing the story of the Scriptures, of God’s work in history, and renewing the promises of our own baptism
Sunday: Celebrating the resurrection – our regular congregations at 8.00, 9.15 and 11.00.
