Alpha

You're Born - You Live - You Die
Story Ends! ... or Does It?

What is the point of life? Alpha

Alpha is:

An opportunity to explore the meaning of life.

Learning while having fun at the same time.

People from all walks of life meeting together in friendship.

Helping each other in small groups by discussing issues raised.

Asking yourself whether Christianity can be your answer to life?

Alpha is a place where all kinds of people find love, acceptance, help, hope, forgiveness, guidance and encouragement.

What's Involved?

There is a series of talks looking at such topics as:

Who is Jesus?
Why did Jesus die?
Why and how should I read the bible?
Why and how should I pray?
What about the holy Spirit?
How does God guide us?
How can I overcome evil?
Why and how should I tell others?
Does God heal today?
What about the Church?

After each talk there is time in small groups for everyone to discuss any issues or questions they have, giving them an opportunity to get to know each other and learn together.

When and Where?

The next course starts on Monday 8th September 2008. Dinner starts at 7 pm and we finish at 9.30 pm. The Alpha course meets every week for ten weeks at St Lukes, 72 McMahons Rd. Frankston.
